charm school

"When nervous in social situations, the kangaroo licks its forearms, the octopus eats its tentacles, the African horned beetle stands on its head. Dogs greet each other by sniffing extremities. When the giant petrel of Antarctica meets a strange bird in its neighborhood, it squirts a jet of oil from its nostrils with a force great enough to knock the other creature down. Ladies, it is ettiquete which differentiates us from the animal world."
